FTU: Addicted Valentine

This tutorial was written by me on April 6, 2018. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey.  Please do not use his tubes without a proper license.
You can purchase Keith's tubes here.

FTU Kit:  I am using Addicted Valentine created by Mizteeques.  You can download the kit from her blog here

Mask:  Mask 228 created by Mizteeques.  You can download it here.    Open and minimize in PSP.

I am using a drop shadow of V2, H5, Opacity 68, blur 12.87 color black throughout unless otherwise stated.

Open a new 750x750 transparent image.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 7, copy and close the original.  Back to your working canvas.  Add a new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  Layers, new mask layer, from image and locate Mizteeques mask in the drop down.  Click ok and merge group.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the upper right.

Copy the large close-up tube.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Move to the upper right so you can see part of her face over the frame.  Select the mask, select all, float, defloat, selections invert, click on the close-up tube and hit delete on the keyboard.  Select none.  Change the blend mode to luminance legacy and lower the opacity to 50 and merge down.
