Lakeside Beauty

This tutorial was written by me on June 2, 2017. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V 0 H 5, Opacity 55, blur 10, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 700x750 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Open frame 15, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the upper right corner of the mask.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selection, modify and expand by 10. Add a new raster layer and move under the frame.  Open paper of choice.  I used paper 12, copy and close the original.  Select the new raster layer.  Edit, paste into selections.  Select none and drop shadow the frame.

Open element 97, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the center of the frame.

Open element 149, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the upper left so it overlaps the tree.  Duplicate and move this layer above the sun glow layer.  Move to the right side and down slightly.  Drop shadow each layer.

Open element 148, copy and close the original.  Select the sun frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the right slightly and up.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move the copy over to the left and down slightly so it is between the tree and fir tree.  Drop shadow both layers.

Open element 140, copy and close the original.  Select the top water layer and paste.  Resize 40% and mirror.  Move to the far left side and drop shadow.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the tree trunk layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the left so it looks like it is sitting on the bottom of the hollow of the tree.  Drop shadow.
