Witchy Woman

This tutorial was written by me on September 22, 2012 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed.

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube: I am using the fantastic artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. Please do not use his artwork without a proper license. You can purchase this at his store here

FTU Scrap Kit: I am using A very cute kit called Witchy Woman by Digicats (and Dogs). You can download it from Digi's blog here.
Thank you for creating this fantastic Kit.

Mask: WSL_mask128. You can down load it from Weescotslass Creations here. Save to your mask folder.

Plug ins: None

Font of choice for name.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above. If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments. I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5 through out unless otherwise stated.

Let's get Started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open frame 11 copy and close the original. Paste as a new layer. Image resize 80% all layers not checked. Using your magic wand, click inside your frame. Selections>modify>expand by 4.

Open paper of choice. I am using paper 7. Copy and close the original. Paste as a new raster layer. Selections invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Select none. Move this layer under your frame layer.

Open you close up tube and paste as a new layer. Image resize 80% all layers not checked. Move this layer up to the top. Add a drop shadow. Select you frame layer and using your magic wand, click inside your frame. Selections invert. Select you tube layer, using your eraser tool, erase to bottom of your tube. Be careful to only
erase her hips. Select none.

Add a drop shadow to your frame.

Time for some elements. See my example for placement.

I used the following:

Beware sign: Resized 50% and add a drop shadow.
Black Cat: Resized 50% and add a drop shadow.
Leaves Border: Resized 70%. I have this layer above the frame layer.
Full Moon: Resized 70% moved under your frame layer. if you see any part of the moon sticking out of the frame, use your eraser tool.
Spooky tree 2: Resized 60% and moved above raster 1. Move to the right side, duplicate and mirror. Your trees should be peaking from the top of the frame. Merge down and add a drop shadow. Color #ffffc0.
Bottle 01: Resized 35%.

Open paper of choice or select a color from you tube. I chose to use a color from my tube. Fill raster 1 with color of choice. I am using #a61d20. If you are using paper copy and paste as a new layer. Apply your mask and merge group. Move this to the top left side of your tag. Duplicate, mirror and flip.

Add your copyright and name and your finished.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
