Snow Princess



This tutorial was written by me on November 28, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.  Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using Bat by Alex Prihodko.  Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license.  You can purchase it at PFD here.  

PTU scrap kit: I am using Winter Wonders by Gimptastic Scraps. Thank you for this awesome kit.

Mask: None

Plug In:  AAA frames, foto frame

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 815x315 transparent image.

Select all and add a new  raster layer.

Open paper of choice.  I am usng paper 7, copy and close the original.  Edit, paste into selections.  Select none.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the center.  Drop shadow.

Open falling snow, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Move to the far right.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open tree, copy and close the original.  Select the top snow fall layer and paste.  Move to the left.  See mine for placement.

Open plant 2, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Move to the far left.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open bird branch, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the middle left.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open well, copy and close the original.  Select the top snow layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the middle right.  See mine for placement.

Open deer, copy and close the original.  Select the well layer and paste.  Image Mirror.  Resize 40% and move to the right just in front of the well.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open grass, copy and close the original.  Select the deer layer and paste.  Move down to the bottom.  See mine for placement.

Add any other elements you like.  Once happy with the timeline, merge visable.  Duplicate the timeline (shift + D) and minimize for now.

Back to the original.  

Effects, AAA Frames, foto frame.  From thed bottom drop down select dark with grey shadow.  Size 5 click ok. 

Copy my wordart ( click on it then right click and save as) and place in the upper right corner.



Add your name and copyright.  Save as png.

Maximize the duplicate.  Resize 70% all layers checked.

Select your crop tool and crop to a width and height of 180.  Move the crop box around until you find a spot you like.  Hit enter or the green check mark. 

Effects, AAA Frames, foto frame.  From thed bottom drop down select dark with grey shadow.  Size 5 click ok. 

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.
