Punk It

This tutorial was written by me on April 20, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called Emilia created by
Elias Chatzoudis.  Please do not use these tubes without a proper licence.
You can purchase this beauty at CDO here.

FTU Kit:  I am using Punk You by Manipulated by Magik .  You can download this gorgeous kit here.  Thank you for the free kit :)

Mask:  WSL mask 243.  You can download it at Weescotslass Creations here.

Font of choice for your name

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Lets get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  D/S

Open wire, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.

Open amp, copy and close the original.  Select the wire layer and paste.  Resize 60% and mirror.  Move down and to the right so it looks like her hand is resting on it.  See mine for placement.  D/S.

Open frame 1, copy and close the original.  Select the wire layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the upper left corner.  Image, free rotate to the right 15 degrees all layers not checked.  See mine for placement.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 12, copy and close the original.  Select the wire layer and add a new raster layer.  Standing on the new layer, Edit, paste into selections.  Do not deselect.  Duplicate your tube  and move her into the frame so you can see her face.  Selections, invert and standing on your tube layer, hit delete on your keyboard.  Change the blend mode to luminance legacy.  Do not deselect.  Open sparkles 2, copy and close the original.  Standing on the duplicate tube layer, edit paste and move to a spot you like best.  Hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  D/S the frame.

Open speaker, copy and close the original.  Select the star layer and paste.  Move up and to the right so it is in behind the amp.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open Guitar, copy and close the original.  Select the speaker layer and paste.  Mirror and move to the far right.  D/S  See mine for placement.

Open pick, copy and close the original.  Select the amp layer and paste.  Move to the bottom left corner.  See mine for placement.

Open dangles 2, copy and close the original.  Select the star layer frame and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the far left in the inner point between the bottom star point and left star point.  D/S.  See mine for placement.

Open Cat on Skull, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom center between the amp and your tube bottom.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Add any other elements you like.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 3, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 243 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
