Ghoulish Babe

This tutorial was written by me on April 29, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube: I am using the fantastic artwork of Elias Chatzoudis.  Please do not use his artwork without a proper license.
You can purchase this at Elias's store here.

Plug ins: Mura Meisters, copy.

Font of choice.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above. If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments. I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5 through out unless otherwise stated.

Lets get started.

Open a new 600x250 transparent image.

Copy your main tube and paste as a new layer.  Effects, Mura Meisters, copies, Wall paper rotate.  Adjust blur, Gaussian blur Radius set at 10.  Effect, Art media effects, brush effects with the following settings:

Copy your close up and paste as a new layer.  Move to the right and change the blend mode to soft light or one of choice.

Copy your main tube and paste as a new layer.  Move to the left.  Add a drop shadow.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and select the bottom tube.   Effects, Texture effects, Mosaic Antique with the following settings.

Select your top layer and add a new raster layer.  Flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #832e63.  Select all, Selections, modify, contract by 5 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Effects, Texture effects, mosaic Antique same settings as previous.

Bring your main tube above the frame.

Add your name and copyright and save as a png.

Duplicate your banner by holding down the shift + D.

Image resize 80%.  Delete the copyright layer and frame layer. Select your crop tool and crop to 150x150.  Move the crop box until you find a spot you like.  Click the green check mark or hit enter on your keyboard.  Repeat the steps for the frame but change the columns and rows to 25.
Add your name and copyright and save as png.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
