Elegant Flower

This tutorial was written by me on February 28, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X6 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using two gorgeous tubes by Jennifer Janesko.  Please do not use these tubes without a proper licence.
I purchased mine through CILM.  You can purchase Jennifer's gorgeous tubes at CDO.

FTU Cluster:  I am using Elegant Floral Cluster by Vaybs.  You can download this gorgeous cluster here. Left click on the cluster frame then right click and save as to you computer.

Mask:  WSL Mask 81.  You can download it from Weescotslasscreations here.

Font: PF Champion Script for my name

I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open the cluster frame and duplicate the frame.  Shift + D.  Close the original.

Image>canvas size> and use the following settings.

This will give us some room to work.  we will resize later.

Select your Selections tool and use the following settings:

Draw out a rectangle round the left frame.  See screen shot below.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #54643c.  Adjust>add/remove noise>add noise with the following settings.

Copy your tube that you are using and, select the layer you just flood filled, paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and move to a spot you like best.  See mine for reference.  Selections, invert and standing on your tube layer, hit delete.  Select none.  Move your frame to the top.  Drop shadow the tube layer.

Repeat the above steps for the right side of the frame.

Add a drop shadow to the frame.

Add a new raster layer and move to the bottom.

Now we are going to need to resize our canvas before we apply the mask.  Image>canvas size> and change the width to 650 the height will automatically adjust.  Everything else will remain the same from the settings we used earlier.  Click ok.

Select 2 colors, I am using FG #8f986a and BG #54643c.  Make a FG gradient with the following settings.

Flood fill your new raster layer.

Apply WSL mask 81 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.
