PTU: Spooky Ghouls

This tutorial was written by me on October 8, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Plug in: EyeCandy 4000 - Gradient Glow (Optional)

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 3, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and D/S.

Open element 87, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify and expand by 3.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 47, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and add a new layer.  Standing on the new layer, Edit, paste into selection.  Select none.

Select the frame layer and add a D/S.

Open Dee's word art 5b, Copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the bottom center. I applied eyecandy gradient glow to the word art size 5 and then selected black halo.  I applied it twice.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the lower right side of the frame.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the ghost layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the upper right side of the frame.

Open element 33, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste.  Resize 40%, image, mirror, image free rotate to the right 90 degrees.  Move it to the bottom center under the word art.  D/S but change the color to white.  Repeat D/S but change the V/H to -3.

Open element 26, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right so it looks like the ghost is peeking out from under it.  D/S.  Remember to change the V/H back to 3 and color to black.

Open element 127, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the upper right so they are over the moon.

Open element 40, copy and close the original.  Select the headstone layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom of the headstone.

Open element 178, Copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the lower right side so the arch is behind the Y.  D/S

Open element 244, copy and close the original.  Select the web layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom so the flame is in the first O.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move the flame into the second O of the word art.

Open element 243, copy and close the original.  Select the Raster 1 and paste.  Resize 65% and mirror.  Move to the left side so you can see the roots under the S in the Word art.  D/S  Duplicate and move this layer under the original tree layer.  Move up and reduce the opacity to 60%.

Open element 93, copy and close the original.  Select the cat layer and paste.  Resize 40% amd move to the bottom left.  D/S

Open element 235, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the left so the leg is behind the top of the S in the word art.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 28, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1, select all and paste into selection.  Select none.  Apply WSL mask 488 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.
