PTU: Under the Red Sky

This tutorial was written by me on June 10, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called "Morgana" created by Misticheskaya.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.
This was a bonus tube but you can purchase Misticheskaya's tubes at PFD here.

PTU Kit:  I am using a fantastic kit called "Dark Dreams" created by Tiny Turtle Designs.  You can purchase this awesome kit at Digi Divas Store here

Check out Tiny Turtle Designs blog here.

Mask: WSL mask 260.  You can download it from Weescotslass Creations blog here.

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Image, resize 35% all layers not checked, Adjust, sharpness, sharpen and D/S.  Move to the bottom center.

Open element 120, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 80% and D/S.  Move to the far right so the bottom is hidden under her skirt.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select the tower layer and paste.  Resize 40% and D/S.  Move to the bottom left so the tree is on the left side of the tower.  Duplicate and move to the upper right of the tower.  Duplicate again and move to the upper right of the tower and move this layer under the tower layer.  See mine for placement.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the bottom center so it is just slightly to the left of the metal cage that your tube is holding.  D/S

Open element 154, copy and close the original.  Select the top tree layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the left so it is beside the crow.  D/S.  See mine for placement.

Open element 145, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom slightly to the left of the skull.  The skull should over lap the goblet slightly.  D/S

Open element 123, copy and close the original.  Select the skull stone and paste.  Resize 40%, image, mirror and D/S.  Move to the bottom left so it lines up with the left side of the stone.

Open element 116, copy and close the original.  Select the skull stone layer and paste.  Resize 40% and D/S.  Move to the bottom left so it is peeking out from behind the angel statue.

Open element 43, copy and close the original.  Select the top tree layer and paste.  Resize 40% and mirror.  D/S and move to the left side so the flowers show above the angel statue.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this layer just under the tube layer and move it so it is behind the tubes knee.

Open element 36, copy and close the original.  Select the angel statue layer and paste.  Resize 40% and mirror.  D/S and move to the bottom right so it is behind the tube.  See mine for placement.

Open element 17, copy and close the original.  Select the umbrella layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom left so it is under her boot.  Make sure you do not go outside the canvas.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.  Duplicate this layer and move it to the left so it is just right of the first leaf cluster.  Duplicate and mirror.  You should have 4 layers scattered along the bottom of the tube.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 15% and D/S.  Move to the bottom slightly overlapped by the goblet.  See mine for placement.

Open element 48, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 15% and D/S.  Move to the bottom left so it is peeking out from under the frame.  Duplicate, mirror and move it so it is under the skull and right of the frame.

Open element 61, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the upper left corner.

Open element 58, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 15% and D/S.  Move to the bottom left of so it covers the corner of the frame.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this layer under the skull and move it so it is peeking out from under it.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Select the umbrella layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom right so the top of it sticking up from behind her skirt.  D/S

Open element 153, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom center so it is behind the skull and goblet.  D/S

Open paper of choice, I am using paper 30, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 260 and merge group.
