PTU: Love me some Cafe

This tutorial was written by me on May 23, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using an awesome tube created by
PinUp Toons.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.
You can purchase this tube at CDO's Store here.

PTU Kit:  I am using a gorgeous kit called "Cafe Day" created by Cairines Creations.   You can purchase this gorgeous kit here

Check out Cairine's other products including CU here

Mask:  WSL mask 241.  You can download it from Weescotslass Creations blog here.

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 650x650 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% all layers not checked and D/S.

Open element 28, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 70%, using your magic wand, Settings: Mode - Add (Shift), Match Mode - RGB Value, Contiguous and Anti-Alias checked. Tolerance and Feather set to 0.  Click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 7, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and add a new layer, Edit, paste into selections.  Do not deselect.  Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and add a new raster layer.  Edit, paste into selection.  Select none.  D/S the word art and frame.  Move your tube slightly down a bit so it looks like she is sitting on it.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the bottom right corner of the frame.  D/S

Open element 5, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and again by 90%, mirror.  Move to the bottom right side of the frame.  D/S

Open element 2, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the bottom left corner of the frame.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select the grinder layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom left corner.  D/S

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the coffee sign layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the bottom right so it is under the tubes leg and right beside the C in the sign.  D/S, duplicate and mirror.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select the coffee bean layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the upper right corner of the frame.  D/S

Open element 17, copy and close the original.  Select the coffee been layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move under the coffee badge on the top right corner.

Open element 23, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste. Resize 70% and move to the far right.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Select the coffee sign layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom left in front of the grinder and slightly covering the bottom of the cup.  D/S, duplicate and mirror.  Move the duplicate slightly to the left.

Open element 26, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the far left of the frame.  D/S

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the top leaf layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the top so it is peeking out from the top of the frame.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom center so it covers your tubes feet.  D/S

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the bottom center  so the saucer lines up with the bottom of the word art.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the cup layer and paste.  Resize 10% and move to the left so it peeks out from behind the C.  Duplicate and mirror.  Duplicate and use your deform tool to turn it 90 degrees.  Move under the F and E.  Duplicate this layer and move under the C and A.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 10, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1, Select all, Edit paste into selections.  Select none.  Apply WSL mask 241 and merge group.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise, Uniform, Noise 15% and Monochrome checked.  Click ok.

Image, resize by 600 pixels, all layers checked.  Click ok.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
