PTU: I'm Late Alice FB Timeline




This tutorial was written by me on May 8, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called Alice created by 
KiwiBG.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.

PTU Kit:  I am using Alice created by Cairines Creations and is the matching kit to KiwiBG's tube.

Mask:  None.

Plug in: Mura Meister - Copies, Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 851x315 transparent image.

Select raster 1, change your foreground to #00a3e5 and flood fill raster 1.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Effects, Mura Meister - copies, Change the bottom drop down to Wall paper Shrink and click ok.  Blur, Motion blur, Angle 0, Strength 100.  Click ok.  Repeat x3.  Duplicate your layer and mirror.  Merge down.  Blur, Gaussian, radius set to 5.  Click ok.  Repeat the Gaussian blur one more time.  Change the blend mode to hard light or something you like.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% all layers not checked, adjust, sharpness, sharpen.  D/S.  Move to the far right.  See mine for placement.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Move to the far right and down a bit.  See mine for placement.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Move down so the top is about center of the timeline.  See mine for placement.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Move up so you see the clock.  The arrow should be touching the road.  D/S

Open element 37, copy and close the original.  Select the road layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move up and to the left so you can see the I'm Late between his ears.  D/S  See mine for placement.

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the rabbit layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the right of the bunny.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the road layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move just to the right of the potion.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 5, copy and close the original.  Select the road layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the right so it is behind the cake.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the road layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the right so it is peeking out from behind the rabbit.  Drop shadow.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the kettle layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move in front of the kettle just left of the bunny.  D/S

Open element 12, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the far upper right so it peeks out from behind the tube.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 25, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Move to the far left so you can see the top curl.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the road layer and paste.  Move to the left and D/S.  See mine for placement.  Move this layer under the road layer.

This part is optional.  Select your text tool and set your font to Alice in Wonderland.  Background black, stroke 0, size 72.  Type out Wonderland and convert to raster.  Adjust, add remove noise, uniform checked, monochrome checked, noise 40%.  D/S.  eyecandy Gradient glow, size 5 then on the basic tab click medium.  Move to the upper left just under the lamp bulb.

Hide your tube layer and merge visible.  Bring your tube layer to the top and unhide it.  

Select your merged layer.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with black.  Select all, Selections, modify, contract by 7 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Selection, invert, Adjust, add remove noise, uniform checked, monochrome checked, noise 40%.  D/S and Repeat but change the H/V to -2.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with 00a3e5.  Select all, Selections, modify, contract by 5 and hit delete on your keyboard. Selections, invert, Adjust, add remove noise, uniform checked, monochrome checked, noise 75%.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with black.  Select all, Selections, modify, contract by 3 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Selection, invert, Adjust, add remove noise, uniform checked, monochrome checked, noise 40%.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png or jpg.

Duplicate your timeline holding shift + D.  You now can close the original.

Select your crop tool and change the W and H to 180.  Move the crop box to a spot you like best.  I selected the bunny.  Click on the check mark or hit enter.  Repeat the steps above for your border and add your copyright and name.

Save as png or jpg.
