PTU: All You Need Is....

This tutorial was written by me on May 22, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

Check out her blog here.

Mask:  WSL Mask 223.  You can download it from Weescotslass Creations here.

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: Eye Candy 4000, Gradient glow (optional)  You can also use drop shadow color white

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 650x650 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% all layers not checked, adjust, sharpness, sharpen. Duplicate and Mirror.   D/S the first tube layer.  Hide the duplicate for now.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the upper left.
Using your magic wand settings are Mode, add shift, Match mode, RGB Value, Tolerance and Feather set to 0, Contiguous and Anti-alias checked, click inside the frame.  Selection, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice,  I am using paper 7, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and add a new raster layer.  Sanding on your new layer go to edit, paste into selections.  Do not deselect.  Unhide your duplicate tube and move this layer under the frame layer.  Move your tube into a spot you like best,  Duplicate this tube on the top copy go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur set to 5.  Change the blend mode to soft light.  Selection, invert.  Standing on the top duplicate tube layer, hit delete on your keyboard.  Select the first duplicate tube and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Drop shadow the frame.  Now we need to merge the frame, 2 duplicate tube layers and paper together.  Standing on the bottom tube layer, merge down,  Go to the next tube layer and merge down, select your frame layer and merge down.  Resize 80% and adjust, sharpness, sharpen.  Move to the upper left.  See mine for placement.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 26, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 223 and merge group.

Open element 46, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the left.   Her foot should look like it is on the 2nd black key from the bottom.  D/S

Open element 200, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the left.  The top of the violin should look like it is resting on the frame and the base of the voilin should be resting on on the the keys close to the tubes leg.  D/S

Open element 206, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom center so the bottom of the left glass covers the corner of the piano keys.

Open element 122, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the far left and down slightly.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 169, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom left.  ALL YOU NEED should be over the glasses.  I added a gradient glow of size 5 and on the color tab clicked medium.

Open element 178, copy and close the original.  Select the top flower cluster and paste.  Move up and to the left so you see the sparkles, duplicate and mirror.  Move this layer to the left and up until you can see the sparkles beside the keys.

Open element 164, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom right corner beside the E in Love.  Adjust, sharpness, sharpen.  D/S

Open element 123, copy and close the original.  Select the top flower cluster layer and paste.  Resize 50% and flip.  Move to the bottom center so it look like the angel is kneeling on it.

Opene element 114, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move under the glasses.  Duplicate and resize 50% and move under the cupid.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom right so the XII of the clock is in the loop of the L.  D/S

Open element 22, copy and close the original.  Sect the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom left so it is resting on the 1st black key.  D/S

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select the piano key layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the upper left so it is peeking out from the top of the frame.  See mine for placement.  D/S, duplicate and move slightly to the right and down.  Duplicate again and move this layer above the frame layer and move the candle in behind the base of the violin.  See mine for placement.

Open element 70, copy and close the original.  Select the glass layer and paste.  Resize 25% and D/S.  Move to the bottom of the glasses so it covers the base.

Open element 105, copy and close the original.  Select the top candle layer and paste.  Resize 15% and image, free rotate to the left 90 degrees, all layers not checked.  Move to the left of the violin so it looks like the leaf is under the violin.  Duplicate and move to the right of the violin so it fills in the void between the tube and violin.

Add any other elements you like.

Select your crop tool then select the merge opaque button.  Click ok.

Image, resize, pixels selected.  Resize the height by 600, the width will adjust itself.  All layers checked. click ok.

Merge visible.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
