PTU: Beauty in Music


This tutorial was written by me on November 9, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Elizabeth Austin.   Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license. You can purchase this gorgeous tube at CDO here.  

PTU scrap kit:  I am using Dream World created by Abstract Creations.  Thank you for creating this awesome kit.  You can purchase this gorgeous kit at CDO here.

Mask:  WSL_Mask 116.  You can get this at Weescotslass Creations here.  Thank you for creating these great masks.

Plug ins:  None

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Drop Shadow.

Open element 1, copy and close the original.  Select the heart layer and paste.  Move to the bottom right duplicate and mirror.  see mine for placement.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.

Open element 29, copy and close the original.  Select the top feather layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the bottom left side.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Select the heart layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the top right corner.  See mine for placement.

Open element 33, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Move to the bottom center.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 90% and move to the bottom center.  See mine for placement.

Open element 5, copy and close the original.  Select the top feather layer and paste.  Move to the left side.  See mine for  placement.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the top feather layer and paste.  Mirror and resize 60%.  Move to the bottom right.  See mine for placement.

Open element 23, copy and close the original.  Select raster1 and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the top left.  See mine for placement.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 2, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply mask WSL 116 and merge group.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png.
