PTU: Beach Babe

This tutorial was written by me on June 4, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Jessica Doughtery.   Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license. You can purchase this gorgeous tube at CDO here.

PTU scrap kit:  I am using Inspired by Jessica Doughtery 39-3 created by Abstract Creations.  Thank you for creating this awesome kit.  You can purchase this kit at CDO here.

Please go and check out Abstract's blog here to check out her awesome kits.

Mask:  WSL_Mask 47.  You can get this at Weescotslass Creations here.  Thank you for creating these great masks.

Plug ins:  None

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Move to the left, duplicate and mirror.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Drop shadow.

Open element 2, copy and close the original.  Select the top palm tree layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right corner.  Use your eraser tool to erase the bottom of the bottle so it looks like it is in the sand.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select the raster layer and paste.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Select the hut layer and paste.  Move to the far right, duplicate and mirror.

Open element 9, copy and close the original.  Select the top palm tree layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom left so it looks like it is up against the tree.  Drop shadow.

Open element 17, copy and close the original.  Select the top palm tree layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move under the pineapple.  See mine for placement.

Open element 25, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the upper left between the leaves of the tree, drop shadow and mirror.

Open WA2, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom middle.  Drop shadow.

Select raster 1 and paste paper of choice.  I am using paper 1.  Apply WSL Mask 47, merge group.  Resize 105% all layers not checked.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
