PTU Poppy

This tutorial was written by me on April 13, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the gorgeous artwork of Enamorte.   Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license.  You can purchase this beautiful tube at CDO here

PTU scrap kit:  I am using Poppy by BabyCakes Scraps.  Thank you for creating this gorgeous kit.  You can purchase this kit at CDO here

Mask: WSL mask 206.  You can get it at Weescotslass creations here.  Thank you for creating these awesome masks.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 26, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%.  Using your magic wand, click inside each of the frames.  Selections, modify and paste paper of choice.  I am using paper 1, Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none. Move the paper under the frame and drop shadow the frame.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Image mirror and drop shadow.

Select raster 1, copy and paste element 16.  Move down to the left.  Duplicate and move to the right and up a bit.

Open element 29, copy and select raster 1, paste as a new layer.  Move to the left a bit.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 5, copy and select the top bottom poppy layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right.  See mine for placement.

Open element 24, copy and select your frame layer.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left.  Duplicate and mirror and move down slightly.

Open element 27, copy and select your top pillow layer.  Paste as a new layer.

Open element 25, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and move to the bottom right.  Move this layer to the top and drop shadow.

Open element 21, copy and paste as a new layer.  Image resize 60% and mirror.  Move this to the bottom left.  Move this layer under the tube layer and drop shadow.  See mine foe placement.

Open element 1 copy and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the bottom left.  Move this layer under the tube layer.  See mine for placement.

Select raster 1, copy and paste paper of choice.  I am using paper 1.  Layers/load/save mask/load mask from disk and find WSL mask 206.  Apply mask and merge group.  Adjust/add/remove noise/add noise/Gaussian check 50% monochrome checked.

Add your copyright and name.  Save as png.  I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.
