This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x250 transparent image.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 5, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise, gaussian 50% monochrome checked.  Blur, Motion Blur, angle 127, strength 100%.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Move to the center of the banner.  Drop shadow.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70%.

Open element 10, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 40%.  Move to the right side of your tag.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 8, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the right side.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 25, copy and close the original  Paste as a new layer and resize 50% and drop shadow.  Move to the bottom left corner.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 50%  Move this in the middle of the banner.  Move this layer just above the curtains.  Drop shadow.

Open element 4, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move this down beside the broach and behind your tube.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Select your top layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all, Image, crop to selections.

Select all, flood fill with color of choice.  I am using #eef2e5.  Selections, modify, contract by 5 and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise. Gaussian 75% monochrome checked.  Drop shadow and repeat but change V/H to -2.

Shift + D to duplicate the banner and minimize for now as we will use this for the Avatar.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png and your done the banner.

Avatar

Maximize the banner we duplicated earlier.  Delete the frame layer and merge visible.  Resize 80% all layers checked.  Select your crop tool and crop to 150x150.  Click OK or hit enter.  Repeat the steps for the frame layer but contract by 3.  Add your copyright and initial or name and save as png.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.  I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
