PTU: Purple Fairy

This tutorial was written by me on March 29, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of  PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Anna Marine. Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license.  You can purchase this gorgeous tube at CDO here.

PTU scrap kit:  I am using Heartbreaker mini by Crazy Carita.  Thank you for creating this gorgeous kit.  You can purchase this kit at CDO here

Check out Carita's blog here.

Mask: None

Plug ins: none.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open element 16, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5, Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Move the paper under your frame and drop shadow the frame.

Open and copy tube of choice.  I am using the tube with the wings.  Paste as a new layer and drop shadow.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left of your tube.  Duplicate and mirror.  Merge down and dropshadow.  Move this layer under your tube.

Open element 8B, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move this layer under your flowers.

Open element 14, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 80%.  Move this layer above your tube and move to the bottom.  Drop shadow.

Open element 7, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%.  Move this to the bottom left of your ribbon.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move this under your ribbon layer.  Duplicate the original rose and move up to the banner.  Move this layer just above the banner.  It should be sitting just beside the fold of the banner.  Duplicate and mirror.  See mine for placement.

Open element 29, copy and close the original.  Select your frame layer and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the top left of the banner.  See mine for placement.  Duplicate, flip and mirror.  Move this one up just a bit.  See mine for placement.

Add your name and copyright.  Save as png and your done.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and I would love to see your results.

Hugs,

Gwils
