PTU: Jungle Beauty


This tutorial was written by me on March 15, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Concetta Kilmer.   Please do not use this artwork without a  proper license.  You can puchase this gorgeous tube at CDO here.  

PTU scrap kit:  I am using It's a jungle out there by Crazy Carita.  Thank you for creating this gorgeous kit.  You can purchase this kit at CDO here

Mask: WSL_mask 220 by Weescotslass creations.  You can get it here.

Plug ins: none.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open frame 5, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.   Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice,  I am using paper 9, copy and paste as a new layer.  Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Keep selected.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and move to a spot you like.  Using your eraser tool, erase the bottom of your tube.  Select none.  Drop shadow your tube and frame.

 Move the paper layer under your frame.

Open element 28, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Using your deform tool, tilt it to the left and move to the upper left corner.  See mine for placement.

Open element 13, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and mirror.  Move to the left side of the frame and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom middle of the frame and drop shadow.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select your leaf  layer and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom in front of the leaf.  See mine for placement.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste as a new layer.  Move this to the right side of the paper.  See mine for placement.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 70%.  Move to the lower right corner and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 60%.  Move this over to the left of the other flower and drop shadow.  See mine for placement.

Move your bow layer above the 2 flower layers.

Open element 32, copy and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and move to the right side of the tiger.  See mine for placement. 

Drop shadow.  Duplicate and Image free rotate to the right by 15 degrees.

Open word art 1, copy and close the original.  Select your top layer and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom of your tag.  See mine for placement.

Select raster 1, open paper of choice, I am using paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer.  Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk and apply WSL mask 220.  Merge group.

Add your copyright and name.  save as png and your done.
