PTU: Sew What?

This tutorial was written by me on February 20, 2013 and are the result of my own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Maryline Cazenave.   Please do not use her artwork without a  proper license.  You can puchase this gorgeous tube at CDO here
PTU scrap kit:  I am using Inspired by Maryline Cazenave 3-3 by Dee's Sign Depot.  Thank you for creating this gorgeous kit.  You can purchase this at CDO here.

Check out Dee's blog here

Mask:  WSL_Mask 84.  You can get it at Weescotslass Creations here.

Plug ins:  None.

Font of choice for your name.  I used Happy.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.  I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50, blur 5, color black through out the tutorial unless otherwise state.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Open frame 2, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 60%.  Click inside the frame using your magic wand.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Selections, invert.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 9.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Hit delete on your keyboard.   Mirror your tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Using your move tool, move to a spot you like.  Once happy with placement, hit delete on your keyboard and change the blend mode to soft light or a blend you like.  Select none.  Move this layer under your frame.
Drop shadow the frame.

Undo the mirror on your tube.  Copy and paste as a new layer, resize 60% and move to the bottom left of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Element 14, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right corner of the frame.  Move this layer under your tube layer.

Element 18, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to the left corner and move this under your tube layer and jar layer. See mine for placement.

Word art 1, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the top of the frame.  Drop shadow.

Open Spray 1, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom.  Move this layer just above your frame.  See mine for placement.

Element 16, copy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom of your frame.  Move this layer under your tube and jar layer.  See mine for placement.  Drop shadow.

Element 26, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to the bottom left of your tag.  See mine for placement.  Move this layer above raster 1.  Duplicate and mirror.

Element 24,  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to the middle left of your tag, see mine for placement.  Move this above element 26 layers.  Duplicate and mirror.

Open paper of choice.  I am using 8.  Copy and paste as a new layer. Layers, load/save mask, Mask from disk, and find WSL mask 84.  Apply your mask and merge group.  Image resize 110% all layers not checked.

Add your name and copyright.

Save as png and your done.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and I would love to see your results.

Hugs:

Gwils
