PTU Timless Love




This tutorial was written by me on July 30, 2012 and are the result of my
own imagination. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies needed.

I am using PSP X4 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using the fantastic artwork of Keith Garvey.  Please do not
use his artwork without a  proper license.  You can purchase this at PTE
PTE will be closing effect August 31, 2012

PTU scrap kit:  I am using Timeless love in pink by Baby Cakes Scraps.  Thank you for creating
this fantastic kit.  You can view it at her blog here
or purchase it a her store here.

Script font of choice.

This tutorial was written using the supplies above.  If you are using a different
tube or scrap kit you may need to make adjustments.

I am using a drop shadow of V/H 2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 black though out
unless otherwise stated.

New image 600x250 transparent.

Open paper seven, copy and close the original.

Back to your working image.  Select all and paste into selection.

Open your main tube, copy and paste as a new layer.  Image>resize 90%
and move the the right.  See mine for placement.  Add a drop shadow.

Open element 27, copy and close the original.  Select your paper layer
and paste.  Image>resize 60%, add a drop shadow.  Move this to the
left side by the bottom.  See mine for placement.

Open element 78, copy and close the original. Select your paper layer
and paste.  Image>resize 40% and move to the top left.  Duplicate>
Image mirror.

Open element 105, copy and close the original.  Edit>paste as a new layer.
Image>mirror.

Open element 86, copy and close the original.  Edit>paste as a new layer
and move to the right behind your tube's bottom.  See mine for placement.

Open element 97, copy and close the original.  Edit>paste as a new layer
and bring this layer to the top.  Image>resize 40%, Image>mirror and
move this on top of your tubes bottom.  Add a drop shadow.

Open element 73, copy and close the original.  Edit>paste as a new raster layer.
Move close to the bottom. (see mine for placement).  Select all, float, defloat,
modify>expand by 3.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a gold pattern.
or if you don't have one fill with #e2d59b and add noise.
Select none.

Select your top layer.  Add a new raster layer.  Select all>selections modify>
contract by 6, Selections invert and fill with black. Select none,

Select all>selections modify>
contract by 3, Selections invert and fill with your gold pattern. Select none,

Add your name and copyright, save as png and your done.

Avitar.

Duplicate your banner (shift + D).  Delete your copyright, name & border layers.
Merge visible.  Select your crop tool and crop by 150x150.
A crop box will appear.  Move this box around until you find a spot you like.
Once happy with placement, click your green check mark.

Repeat the steps for your border but change it to 5 for the black &
2 for your gold.

Add your copyright and name or initial. Save as png.
