This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X9 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called "Dark Princess" created by VeryMany.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.

PTU Kit:  I am using Dance in the Rain's gorgeous kit called "The Dark & Deadly Village".  You can purchase this kit at Digi Diva's here

Mask:  WSL mask 222.  You can download it here.

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 3, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.  

Copy Frame 1 and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 65%, all layers not checked.

Open frame 11, copy and close the original.  Select the first frame layer and paste.  Resize 70%, all layers not checked.  Image, free rotate, 90 degrees to the right, all layers not checked.

Select frame 1 layer.  Using your magic wand, Settings:  Mode: Add(shift) Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance and Feather: 0, Contiguous and Anti-alias checked, outside.  Select the center of the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 3.  

Select raster 1 and add a new layer.  

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 15, copy and close the original.  Standing on the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  D/S both frames.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move down so you don't see the bottom of the tomb stones.  D/S.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 50% and mirror.  Move to the far left side.  See mine for placement.  D/S.

Open element 96, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the bottom center of the frame.  See mine for placement.

Open element 69, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 35% and mirror.  Move to the far left.  See mine for placement.  D/S 

Copy your tube, Select the paper layer and paste.  Duplicate the tube and bring to the top.  Hide this layer for now.  Back to the original tube layer.  Select the paper layer, select all, float, defloat.  Move your tube until you see her face on the top right corner.  Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Change the blend mode to screen and lower the opacity to 60%.

Unhide the top tube layer,  Resize 40% and mirror.  Move to the far right side.  D/S.  Move this layer under the skull layer.

Open element 85, copy and close the original.  Select the mansion layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the right.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 94, copy and close the original.  Select the top tube layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the bottom left corner.

Open element 97, copy and close the original.  Select the top tube layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the far left side.  D/S

Open element 42, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right.  D/S.

Open element 51, copy and close the original.  Select the skull cluster layer and paste.  Resize 25% and D/S.  Move to the far bottom left.  See mine for placement.

Open element 39, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and D/S.  Move to the upper left corner.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 8, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1, Select all, Edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  Apply WSL mask 222 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.  

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50%, all layers not checked and again by 90%.  D/S

Open element 27, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 90% and move down slightly.

Open element 38, copy and close the original.  Select the head stone layers and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 52, copy and close the original.  Select the candle layer and paste.  Resize 90% and mirror.  Move to the bottom center.

Open element 53, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 85% and move to the bottom left, duplicate and mirror.

Open element 50, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the far right.  See mine for placement.  

Open element 64, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the upper right so it peeks out from behind the house.  See mine for placement.  

Open element 12, copy and close the original.  Select the house layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the upper right so it is in the middle of the moon.  D/S

Open element 81, copy and close the original.  Select the house layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move down slightly.

Open element 32, copy and close the original.  Select the stone road layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the left so you see it peeking out from the trees.

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30% and D/S.  Move to the bottom center.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right so the cat slightly overlaps it.  D/S

Open element 45, copy and close the original.  Select the headstone layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the right so it lines up between the 2 headstones.  D/S.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select the tree with skull layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the bottom left so it covers the skull.  D/S

Open element 140, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 80%.  You will see it once we add the paper layer :).

Open element 137, copy and close the original.  Select the cauldron layer and paste.  Resize 40% and mirror.  Move to the top of the cauldron so it looks like it is coming out of it. 

Open element 81, copy and close the original.  Select the cauldron layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom left so it is in front of the cauldron.  See mine for placement. 

Open element 23, copy and close the original.  Select the cauldron layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the bottom left corner.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using payer 13, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply Vix big mask 1.  Do not merge group yet.  Select the star scatter layer you pasted earlier and move just below the mask layer and above the paper layer.  Merge group.  Duplicate and merge down.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 3, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.  

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and again by 90%.  Image, mirror and D/S.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 10, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Layers, load/save mask and find Vix big mask 1 and apply the mask.  Merge group.  

Open element 18, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom slightly to the left.  D/S

Open element 34, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 70%.  Move to the bottom center so it looks like your tube is standing on it.

Open element 65, copy and close the original.  Select the grass layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom center.  D/S

Open element 68, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the far left.  D/S

Open element 66, copy and close the original.  Select the tree layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the left side in front of the tree.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 73, copy and close the original.  Select the grass layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the lower right side.  D/S

Open element 79, copy and close the original.  Select the fire pit layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the top of the fire.  See mine for placement.

Open element 55, copy and close the original.  Select the mask layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move down and slightly to the right.  D/S

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom center so it slightly covers the tubes shoe.  

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the bottom so it is in front of your tube.  D/S

Open element 21, copy and close the original.  Select the tree with the swing layer and paste  Resize 70% and move to the far left so it peeks out from behind the first tree.  D/S

Open element 56, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom leaf layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move down and slightly to the left so it is behind the tube.  Duplicate and resize 80%.  Move this layer under the fire pit layer and then move to the far right so it peeks out from behind the right side of the fire pit.  Duplicate again, mirror and move down and slightly to the left.  See mine for placement.

Open element 48, copy and close the original.  Select the cat layer and paste.  Resize 10% and again by 90%.  Move down and to the right so it looks like the cat is looking at it.  Use your deform tool and have it look like it is turned towards the tube.  D/S.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move to the top center of the two trees on the left.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35% all layers not checked, adjust sharpness, sharpen. Duplicate, on the duplicate layer, adjust, blur, Gaussian blur set to 3 and then change the blend mode to soft light.  Select the original tube layer and D/S.  Select the top layer and merge down.

Open frame 13, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Move your tube down slightly so it looks like it is sitting on it.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 3.  Select raster 1 and add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 17, copy and close the original.  Standing on your new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  D/S the frame.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move down slightly.  (see mine for placement.  Duplicate and flip and mirror.  Standing on the paper layer, select all, float, defloat.  Select the first glitter layer and hit delete on your keyboard.  Repeat for the second glitter layer.  Select none.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Move to the bottom center, duplicate and merge down.  Duplicate one more time and merge down.

Open element 91, copy and close the original.  Select the cloud layer and paste.  Move up about 1/2 way on the wings.

Open element 92, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Move to the bottom so it peeks up from the first cloud.  See mine for placement.

Open element 55, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so it is sitting on the cloud and covers the bottom portion of the tube's wing.

Open element 72, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 30% and mirror.  Move to the bottom right. and D/S.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the rose layer and paste.  Resize 50%.  Move to the far left side.   See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right of the frame.  D/S

Open element 123, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the left side of the frame.  D/S

Open element 200 (13), copy and close the original.  Select the rose cluster layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the left almost beside the rose.  D/S

Open element 200 (12), copy and close the original.  Select the candle layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it peeks out from behind the violin and tube.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 119 and merge group.  Resize 105%.

Add any other elements you like.

Add your copyright and name. 

Save as png.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom center and slightly to the right.  D/S.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom right.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 85, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it looks like the music notes are coming out from the speaker.  

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom so it peeks out from behind the sign.  D/S

Open element 49, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move under the jukebox.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom left corner and D/S.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the upper left corner.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select the neon sign layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom left so it peeks out from behind the record.  D/S

Open element 18, copy and close the original.  Select the record layer and paste.  Resize 40% and again by 60%  move to the bottom of the table.  D/S.

Open element 35, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste.  Resize 30% and mirror.  Move to the left so it is peeking out from behind the tubes shoulder.  D/S

Open element 45, copy and close the original.  Select the napkin holder layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move slightly behind the coke.  D/S

Open element 46, copy and close the original.  Select the coke layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the left so it is in front of the coke and fries.  D/S

Open element 86, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste. Mirror and move to the upper right corner.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Select the record layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so it covers the hole on the record.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 8, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 117 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.
