FTU tag show off


With so much happening in my R/L I have taken a break from tutorial writing but once in a while I like to create something lol.

Here is my results using a beautiful FTU kit by Carita Creationz called Winter Kisses.  You can find the kit at Carita's blog here.

FTU Tutorial by Dragonfly's Give me my Wings

Hi everyone,

I seen this gorgeous tutorial on Dragonfly's psp and just had to try it out.  Simply beautiful.  The tutorial is called Give me My Wings and you can find it here.  You will need psp knowledge to try this tutorial.

PTU: Spooky Ghouls


This tutorial was written by me on October 8, 2016. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.  

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X9 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called "49-3" created by Anna Marine.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.

PTU Kit:  I am using Dance in the Rain's gorgeous kit called "Ooooky Spooky Halloween".  You can purchase this kit at the following stores:

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: EyeCandy 4000 - Gradient Glow (Optional)

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 3, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.  

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80% and D/S.

Open element 87, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 80%.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify and expand by 3.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 47, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and add a new layer.  Standing on the new layer, Edit, paste into selection.  Select none.  

Select the frame layer and add a D/S.

Open Dee's word art 5b, Copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the bottom center. I applied eyecandy gradient glow to the word art size 5 and then selected black halo.  I applied it twice.

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the lower right side of the frame. 

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the ghost layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the upper right side of the frame.

Open element 33, copy and close the original.  Select your tube layer and paste.  Resize 40%, image, mirror, image free rotate to the right 90 degrees.  Move it to the bottom center under the word art.  D/S but change the color to white.  Repeat D/S but change the V/H to -3.

Open element 26, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right so it looks like the ghost is peeking out from under it.  D/S.  Remember to change the V/H back to 3 and color to black.

Open element 127, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the upper right so they are over the moon.

Open element 40, copy and close the original.  Select the headstone layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom of the headstone.  

Open element 178, Copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the lower right side so the arch is behind the Y.  D/S

Open element 244, copy and close the original.  Select the web layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom so the flame is in the first O.  Duplicate and mirror.  Move the flame into the second O of the word art.

Open element 243, copy and close the original.  Select the Raster 1 and paste.  Resize 65% and mirror.  Move to the left side so you can see the roots under the S in the Word art.  D/S  Duplicate and move this layer under the original tree layer.  Move up and reduce the opacity to 60%.

Open element 93, copy and close the original.  Select the cat layer and paste.  Resize 40% amd move to the bottom left.  D/S

Open element 235, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the left so the leg is behind the top of the S in the word art.  D/S 

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 28, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1, select all and paste into selection.  Select none.  Apply WSL mask 488 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

PTU: Blood Lust

PTU Kit:  I am using Dance in the Rain's gorgeous kit called "The Dark & Deadly Village".  You can purchase this kit at Digi Diva's here

Font of choice for your name.

Plug in: None

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 3, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.  

Copy Frame 1 and close the original.  Paste as a new layer and resize 65%, all layers not checked.

Open frame 11, copy and close the original.  Select the first frame layer and paste.  Resize 70%, all layers not checked.  Image, free rotate, 90 degrees to the right, all layers not checked.

Select frame 1 layer.  Using your magic wand, Settings:  Mode: Add(shift) Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance and Feather: 0, Contiguous and Anti-alias checked, outside.  Select the center of the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 3.  

Select raster 1 and add a new layer.  

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 15, copy and close the original.  Standing on the new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  D/S both frames.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move down so you don't see the bottom of the tomb stones.  D/S.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 50% and mirror.  Move to the far left side.  See mine for placement.  D/S.

Open element 96, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 80% and move to the bottom center of the frame.  See mine for placement.

Open element 69, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 35% and mirror.  Move to the far left.  See mine for placement.  D/S 

Copy your tube, Select the paper layer and paste.  Duplicate the tube and bring to the top.  Hide this layer for now.  Back to the original tube layer.  Select the paper layer, select all, float, defloat.  Move your tube until you see her face on the top right corner.  Selections, invert and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Change the blend mode to screen and lower the opacity to 60%.

Unhide the top tube layer,  Resize 40% and mirror.  Move to the far right side.  D/S.  Move this layer under the skull layer.

Open element 85, copy and close the original.  Select the mansion layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the right.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 94, copy and close the original.  Select the top tube layer and paste.  Resize 35% and move to the bottom left corner.

Open element 97, copy and close the original.  Select the top tube layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the far left side.  D/S

Open element 42, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right.  D/S.

Open element 51, copy and close the original.  Select the skull cluster layer and paste.  Resize 25% and D/S.  Move to the far bottom left.  See mine for placement.

Open element 39, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 25% and D/S.  Move to the upper left corner.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 8, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1, Select all, Edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  Apply WSL mask 222 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.
