This was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Please keep in mind that I write the tutorial as I am creating it.

Sometimes I may not explain properly where to place things so please see my example if you are ever in doubt :)

Supplies needed

I am using PSP X8 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a gorgeous tube called "Midnight Angel" created by Alex Prihodko.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper licence.

PTU Kit:  I am using "Kathy's Elegant Dreams" created by ChocUkDesigns.  This gorgeous kit can be purchased at Digi Diva's here or at PFD here.

Mask:  WSL Mask 119.  You can download it at Weescotslass Creations blog here.

Font of choice for your name.  I am using an Angelic War.

Plug in: None

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35% all layers not checked, adjust sharpness, sharpen. Duplicate, on the duplicate layer, adjust, blur, Gaussian blur set to 3 and then change the blend mode to soft light.  Select the original tube layer and D/S.  Select the top layer and merge down.

Open frame 13, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Move your tube down slightly so it looks like it is sitting on it.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 3.  Select raster 1 and add a new raster layer.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 17, copy and close the original.  Standing on your new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none.  D/S the frame.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select the paper layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move down slightly.  (see mine for placement.  Duplicate and flip and mirror.  Standing on the paper layer, select all, float, defloat.  Select the first glitter layer and hit delete on your keyboard.  Repeat for the second glitter layer.  Select none.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Move to the bottom center, duplicate and merge down.  Duplicate one more time and merge down.

Open element 91, copy and close the original.  Select the cloud layer and paste.  Move up about 1/2 way on the wings.

Open element 92, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Move to the bottom so it peeks up from the first cloud.  See mine for placement.

Open element 55, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so it is sitting on the cloud and covers the bottom portion of the tube's wing.

Open element 72, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 30% and mirror.  Move to the bottom right. and D/S.

Open element 15, copy and close the original.  Select the rose layer and paste.  Resize 50%.  Move to the far left side.   See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 20, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right of the frame.  D/S

Open element 123, copy and close the original.  Select the top cloud layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the left side of the frame.  D/S

Open element 200 (13), copy and close the original.  Select the rose cluster layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the left almost beside the rose.  D/S

Open element 200 (12), copy and close the original.  Select the candle layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it peeks out from behind the violin and tube.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 119 and merge group.  Resize 105%.

Add any other elements you like.

Add your copyright and name. 

Save as png.

Font of choice for your name.  I am using an FTU font called Rechtman.  You can download it here.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25% all layers not checked and D/S.

Open element 90, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom center and slightly to the right.  D/S.

Open element 19, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom layer and paste.  Resize 70% and move to the bottom right.  See mine for placement.  D/S

Open element 85, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it looks like the music notes are coming out from the speaker.  

Open element 3, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom so it peeks out from behind the sign.  D/S

Open element 49, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move under the jukebox.

Open element 24, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom left corner and D/S.

Open element 6, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the upper left corner.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select the neon sign layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom left so it peeks out from behind the record.  D/S

Open element 18, copy and close the original.  Select the record layer and paste.  Resize 40% and again by 60%  move to the bottom of the table.  D/S.

Open element 35, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste.  Resize 30% and mirror.  Move to the left so it is peeking out from behind the tubes shoulder.  D/S

Open element 45, copy and close the original.  Select the napkin holder layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move slightly behind the coke.  D/S

Open element 46, copy and close the original.  Select the coke layer and paste.  Resize 20% and move to the left so it is in front of the coke and fries.  D/S

Open element 86, copy and close the original.  Select the jukebox layer and paste. Mirror and move to the upper right corner.

Open element 7, copy and close the original.  Select the record layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so it covers the hole on the record.  D/S

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 8, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 117 and merge group.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

Font of choice for your name.  I am using Steampunk by Marta van Eck font which is FTU and you can download it here.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 600x600 transparent image. 

Open your main tube and paste.  Resize 40%, adjust sharpness, sharpen.  Duplicate your tube, On the duplicate layer, adjust, blur, Gaussian blur set to 3, click ok.  Change the blend mode to soft light.  Back to the original tube, select all, float, defloat, invert.  Back to the duplicate layer and hit delete on your keyboard.  Select none.  Back to the original tube layer.  D/S click on the duplicate layer and merge down.

Open element 57, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and D/S.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 16, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste. Apply WSL mask 297 and merge group.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 3, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Apply WSL mask 287 and merge group.  Resize 90%.

Open element 22, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move slightly to the right.  See mine for placement.

Open element 31, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom right so it covers the machines corner.  D/S

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select the fire machine layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move down and slightly to the left.  D/S.

Open element 87, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom center.  D/S

Open element 96, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom mask layer and paste.  Resize 60%.

Open element 214, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom center so it is in behind the tube.  D/S, duplicate and resize 60% move the the left so it is in behind the gear.

Open element 215, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom flower layer and paste.  Resize 30% and D/S.  Move to the bottom left so it peeks out from the flower.  Duplicate and move to the top of the flower.

Open element 207, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the top right corner and D/S

Open element 81, copy and close the original.  Select the clock layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left so the bottom lines up with the hinge.  D/S

Open element 201, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 50% and move to the bottom center.  D/S

Add any other elements you like.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

I am using a drop shadow (D/S) of V/H 2, Opacity 50, blur 5, color black throughout the tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Let's get started.

Open a new 650x650 transparent image.  We will resize later.

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35% and again by 95% all layers not checked.  Duplicate your tube.  On the duplicate tube, Adjust, blur, Gaussian blur set to 3 and then change the blend mode to soft light.  Select the bottom tube layer and D/S.  Select the duplicate layer then merge down.

Open element 182, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste. Resize 60% and move to the bottom center so it looks like the tube is sitting on it.  D/S.

Open element 54, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 40%, free rotate 25 degrees to the right.  Move to the right side.  Using your magic wand, click inside the frame.  Selections, modify, expand by 5.  Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 11, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and add a new raster layer, edit, paste into selections.  Select none and D/S the frame.

Open element 69, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 15% and move to the upper right side of the frame so it looks like they are on the ribbon.  D/S

Open element 74, copy and close the original.  Select the frame layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right so the base is slightly covered by the flowers.  D/S

Open element 105, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the far right.  D/S, duplicate.  Resize the duplicate by 80%.

Open element 111, copy and close the original.  Select the dove layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom right so it covers the bark.  D/S

Open element 107, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 75% and move down slightly.  D/S, duplicate and flip.

Open element 130, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom bark layer and paste.  Resize 60% and move to the right so it overlaps the bark.  D/S

Open element 216, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and paste.  Resize 70% and move up slightly.

Open element 263, copy and close the original.  Select the flower cluster layer and paste.  Resize 40% and move to the bottom left.  D/S

Open element 250, copy and close the original.  Select the bottom leaf cluster and paste.  Resize 70%.

Open element 122, copy and close the original.  Select the top layer and paste.  Resize 15% and D/S.  Move to the top left of the cage.

Open element 81, copy and close the original.  Select the Flower cluster layer and paste.  Resize 30% and move to the bottom left behind the cage.  D/S

Open element 78, copy and close the original.  Resize by 35% and again by 80%.  Image, mirror and D/S.  Move to the bottom center.

Open element 233, copy and close the original.   Select the top leaf cluster and paste. Resize 70%.

Open element 70, copy and close the original.  Select the tube layer and paste.  Resize 25% and move to the bottom so it is under the violin.  D/S, duplicate and move this layer under the cage layer and then move to the left so it covers the bottom portion of the fan.

Open paper of choice.  I am using paper 2, copy and close the original.  Select raster 1 and apply WSL mask 277 and merge group.

Now we need to resize before adding the copyright.

Image, resize 600 pixels, all layers checked.

Merge visible.

Adjust, sharpness, sharpen.

Add your copyright and name.

Save as png.

Hi everyone,

I have created these lips a while back but never had enough nerve to put them out until a friend of mine gave me courage lol.  Thank you Dance in the Rain :)

These elements were hand drawn by me and then I added a gloss using some plug ins.

If you want to use them please feel free to do so but please read my TOU and no CU4CU please.
